1. Data controller
Scaletech S.r.l., Via Giacomo Campanelli 12, 70043 Monopoli (BA), Italia. VAT / Tax ID: 04359360718. For privacy enquiries: info@scaletech.io. PEC: scaletech@pec.it.
2. Information we process
When your browser requests a page, the web infrastructure necessarily receives technical information such as the IP address, date and time, requested URL, user agent, response status and diagnostic data. The server or reverse proxy may record these in access and security logs.
If you contact us by email, we process your name, email address, message and any additional information you choose to provide. The form on this website opens your device's email application; it does not submit the message to this website's backend.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting: legitimate interests in protecting our systems and maintaining service availability (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), subject to necessity and balancing assessments.
- Responding to email enquiries: steps requested prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), or, depending on the nature of the enquiry, legitimate interests in handling professional correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Website statistics using Google Analytics 4, only if you accept analytics cookies: consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time.
- Aggregated server-side statistics, if enabled without identifying individual visitors: legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), subject to a balancing assessment.
4. Approximate geolocation
An IP address may be used temporarily to infer an approximate country or region for security analysis and aggregated business statistics. We do not request GPS location access, reconstruct movements or use this information for personalised advertising or individual profiling.
5. Google Analytics, cookies and consent
We use Google Analytics 4 (ID G-5BBXQ3HPMX) to understand which pages are visited, aggregate traffic, device types and approximate geographic origin. The Google tag loads only after explicit consent. Before a choice or after rejection, no Analytics requests are sent to Google. The website code does not enable Google Signals, remarketing or advertising personalization.
After consent, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies (configured lifespan: 180 days). We also save only the consent choice in localStorage so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Language remains in the URL. You can change or withdraw your choice through the footer link. Cookie policy.
6. Recipients, retention and transfers
Technical information may be accessible to providers operating the site's hosting, network, security and maintenance; email correspondence to email service providers. Logs are retained only for the time needed for security and troubleshooting under infrastructure rotation and deletion rules; incident evidence may be retained longer when necessary. Correspondence is retained according to the duration of the relationship and any applicable legal duties.
Only after consent does Google receive GA4 measurement data, which may include pseudonymous identifiers, browsing events, device metadata and estimated country or region. Processing may involve Google group entities and transfers outside the EEA. User- and event-level data retention depends on the actual Analytics property settings; we recommend setting it to 2 months and periodically checking settings and data-processing terms.
Provider locations and any transfers outside the European Economic Area depend on the infrastructure actually in use. Contact us at the addresses above for information on recipients and any applicable transfer safeguards.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Use the email address above. You also have the right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority. Italian Data Protection Authority.
8. Requirement to provide data and automated decisions
