Cookie policy

Google Analytics is enabled only with your consent. You can change your choice at any time.

1. Cookie preferences

You can reject or accept analytics cookies, or withdraw previously granted consent. Your choice does not affect access to the website.

2. Technologies we use

  • Consent preference (necessary): we use localStorage solely to save your choice (accept/reject), version and date. The key is scaletech.analytics-consent.v1; it is not an advertising identifier. It expires after 12 months unless you change your choice sooner.
  • Google Analytics 4 — _ga: analytics cookie used to distinguish visitors, set only after consent; configured lifespan: 180 days.
  • Google Analytics 4 — _ga_*: analytics cookie used to maintain session state, set only after consent; configured lifespan: 180 days.

The browser may shorten cookie lifetimes. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing or profiling pixels. Site language stays in the URL (/it or /en), with no language cookie.

3. When Google is contacted

Before you opt in, the Google Analytics script is not downloaded and no measurement request is sent to Google. After acceptance, the browser sends Google site usage data, device information and approximate location inferred from the IP address. We use measurement for website statistics, not personalized advertising.

Collection uses GA4 stream G-5BBXQ3HPMX. Analytics processing is based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time without retroactive effect. Google may also process information outside the EEA under applicable transfer mechanisms.

4. Withdrawing consent

The 'Review cookie preferences' link is always available in the footer. When you reject after accepting, we disable collection, remove detectable GA cookies and reload without Google Analytics. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings.

5. Technical logs

The server and reverse proxy may process IP addresses and network metadata independently of cookies for routine technical and security purposes. Consult our privacy notice for the legal bases and your rights.
